Privacy notice for the ScormIQ portal
This page explains how we use your information in this portal. The full Netresearch privacy policy is available in German at netresearch.de.

Purpose and data
We process your name and email address to provide test access, confirm your address by link and return the prepared course to you. We process your uploaded course package solely to add the AI tutor. We also store the time of your consent and the IP address used to create the account to protect against misuse. The legal bases are your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and steps taken before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Course feedback sends your message, course identifier, invitation/contact email and optional reply address to the ScormIQ team by email for review and response. Feedback messages are not stored in the portal database; mailbox retention follows the linked Netresearch privacy policy. Course links can be reused until expiry. Where sharing is permitted, we store the invitation chain to enforce access and revocation.
Retention
- Uploaded courses are automatically deleted 30 days after upload.
- Accounts with an unconfirmed email address and their uploads are deleted after 7 days.
- Confirmed accounts remain until you request deletion. Send a short message to scormiq@netresearch.de.
- Course invitations store the recipient email and access to one course. Invitations and guest access expire after seven days and are removed by the next retention sweep. Delivery limits retain mailbox and requester identifiers for one hour.
- Newsletter consent is optional and separate from course access. We store the request time, consent wording version and source, language and confirmation time. Unconfirmed requests expire after seven days. Only separately confirmed addresses enter the newsletter list; unsubscribing deletes the entry.
Location and disclosure
The data is stored on a server in Germany. We do not disclose it to third parties. Confirmation and sign-in links are sent by email through Google Workspace.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, and to withdraw your consent for the future. Contact scormiq@netresearch.de to exercise these rights.
